TRENDS Research & Advisory has welcomed a new batch of trainees to specialise in research, analysis, and study preparation as part of its ongoing global training courses.

These courses are part of the centre's continuous efforts to enhance regional and international research and analytical capabilities, led by the TRENDS International Training Institute. They respond to the growing need for rigorous analysis and in-depth research, emphasising the importance of youth empowerment and developing university students’ research and knowledge skills.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, said that welcoming this new batch of trainees reaffirms TRENDS’ commitment to its leading role in disseminating knowledge and developing research talent. He highlighted the centre's belief that scientific research and rigorous analysis are the cornerstones of progress in any society.

Dr. Al-Ali added: “Through these training courses, we aim to empower a new generation of researchers and analysts capable of addressing future challenges, particularly by supporting youth and university students at various academic stages. We aim to refine their skills and equip them with the necessary tools to become thought and innovation leaders.”

Sultan Al-Rubaie, Senior Researcher and Head of the TRENDS International Training Institute, affirmed that the institute is keen on offering comprehensive, innovative training programmes based on the latest global methodologies in research and analysis. He noted that the institute places special emphasis on building the capacities of youth and university students.

“The training programmes offered by the institute are designed to provide participants with the skills and tools needed to conduct in-depth scientific research and deliver accurate analysis,” Al-Rubaie said, adding that this contributes to supporting decision-making and the development of practical solutions to various issues.

“We are also working to prepare young people to play an active role in scientific research by building bridges of cooperation with universities and supporting students on their academic journey,” Al-Rubaie said.

The TRENDS International Training Institute organises advanced training courses in strategic partnership with several prestigious academic and research institutions worldwide. These include productive collaborations with leading universities such as Johns Hopkins University, the University of Cambridge, and the Geneva Institute of Diplomacy.

The partnerships aim to enrich the training content, and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and expertise, ensuring the highest quality standards in training, especially for university students at different academic levels.
