ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
ADMO Lifestyle Holding (ADMO), a joint venture between Alpha Dhabi Holding PJSC and Monterock International Limited, has become the majority shareholder in the acclaimed Lebanese fine dining brand Em Sherif, further bolstering its growing luxury hospitality portfolio.
This strategic move follows ADMO’s initial investment in the brand in October 2023 and signifies a key milestone in its commitment to shaping the future of global premium hospitality.
With 56 signed outlets across 29 countries and 29 operating outlets in 16 countries—including high-profile locations such as Abu Dhabi, Monaco, Paris, and the iconic Harrods in London—Em Sherif has become a symbol of Lebanese culinary heritage on the international stage. The brand offers a range of concepts, from fine dining to deli-style experiences, rooted in tradition and elegance.
ADMO’s increased investment and strategic backing will accelerate Em Sherif’s expansion plans, which target 68 outlets across the GCC and beyond by 2027. This growth aligns with ADMO’s vision to deliver holistic, luxurious, and immersive experiences for global audiences.
Sanjay Nandi, Group CEO of ADMO, commented: “ADMO is proud to announce its majority acquisition of Em Sherif, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to shaping the future of premium hospitality. With this strategic move, ADMO will take a leading role in steering the global expansion and long-term vision of the Em Sherif brand as it enters a bold new chapter on the world stage. By combining Em Sherif’s distinctive culinary heritage with ADMO’s operational excellence and international platform, we are set to unlock new opportunities.”
Dani Chakour, CEO of Em Sherif, added: “This partnership with ADMO marks a transformational moment for Em Sherif. As we continue to evolve from a regional success story to a global hospitality brand, ADMO’s majority stake brings not only investment, but a shared vision and deep operational expertise. Together, we are aligned in our ambition to preserve the authenticity of Em Sherif while accelerating its international expansion. With ADMO by our side, we are ready to scale with impact, integrity, and excellence.”
The deal is expected to create significant synergy between the two companies as they capitalise on growing global demand for luxury, heritage-driven hospitality. It also diversifies and strengthens ADMO’s expanding portfolio, which already includes leading brands such as Nammos Group, CÉ LA VI, and AlphaMind.
