Chip maker Nvidia on Monday said it expects to resume sales of its H20 artificial intelligence (AI) chip to China after receiving confirmation from the US government that export licenses will be granted.
"The US government has assured NVIDIA that licenses will be granted, and NVIDIA hopes to start deliveries soon," the company added.
The move comes after Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang 's recent meeting with President Donald Trump and US policymakers, where he reaffirmed his "support for the Administration's effort to create jobs, strengthen domestic AI infrastructure and onshore manufacturing, and ensure that America leads in AI worldwide."
