President Donald Trump will visit the Middle East from May 13 through May 16
“The President will travel to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE from May 13 until May 16,” his spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Tuesday.
The visit will no longer be the first foreign trip of Trump’s second term after the US president said he would attend the funeral of Pope Francis this weekend. Nor will it include additional stops, despite Trump suggesting he was eyeing visits to other countries, the Bloomberg report said.
The trip allows Trump the opportunity to highlight investments being made by the Gulf countries in the US.
