Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso says he will leave the club at the end of the season.
"This week, the club and I have agreed that these two games are going to be my last two games as Bayer Leverkusen coach," he told a news conference on Friday.
The Spaniard has been heavily linked in the media with a move to Real Madrid but did not comment on the speculation. Real coach Carlo Ancelotti's position is unclear.
Alonso won a league and cup double in Germany last season without losing a match but losing the Bundesliga title to Bayern Munich last weekend.
Leverkusen host Borussia Dortmund on Sunday and finish the league season on May 17 at Mainz.
