The National Center of Meteorology has issued a weather alert for parts of the UAE, including the emirate of Abu Dhabi, from Friday night until Saturday morning.
In an advisory issued on Friday, the NCM said there is a chance of fog formation with a deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may drop even further at times over some internal and coastal areas from 11:00 pm on Friday, March 14, until 9:00 am on Saturday, March 15.
Abu Dhabi Police also issued an advisory for motorists - amid yellow and red weather alert - to exercise caution due to reduced visibility, urging them to follow changing speed limits (80 kmph) displayed on electronic information boards.
