Popular messaging app WhatsApp was down for several users on Saturday evening, including in the UAE, with complains of messages not getting delivered being flagged the most.
According to Downdetector, hundreds of WhatsApp issue reports were received, with 81% being over sending messages.
There was no immediate statement from WhatsApp addressing the outage.
Nearly 3 billion people use the messaging worldwide.
