Elmer Schialer Salcedo, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, officially inaugurated this evening the HQ of Peru’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Alberto Alejandro Farje Orna, Ambassador of Peru to the UAE, members of the embassy staff, a number of accredited Arab and foreign diplomatic corps members, business leaders, and members of the Peruvian community residing in the UAE.
Addressing the inauguration, the Peruvian Foreign Minister stated that the establishment of Peru’s embassy in the UAE reflects the strong bonds of friendship between the two countries. He described the UAE as a strategic partner for Peru and expressed his hope for further strengthening of the partnership to serve the interests of both friendly nations.
He also extended his gratitude and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his pivotal role in enhancing and advancing the relations between the two nations.
