ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has released its weather forecast for the period from Monday, May 12 until Friday, May 16, 2025.

The weather bureau expects cloudy days with a decrease in temperatures.

Monday, May 12
Weather: Humid by morning over some coastal areas with a probability of mist formation – Fair to partly cloudy and some clouds appear eastward, with a chance of some convective cloud formation associated with some rainfall over the mountains by afternoon.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northwesterly winds freshening at times, causing blowing dust during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, May 13
Weather: Fair to partly cloudy and some clouds appear eastward by afternoon.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, May 14
Weather: Fair to partly cloudy, and some clouds appear eastward with a chance of some convective cloud formation over the mountains by afternoon.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds freshening at times during daytime, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 35 km/h.
Sea: Slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Thursday, May 15
Weather: Fair to partly cloudy and some clouds appear eastward and southward by afternoon may be convective – A decrease in temperatures over the coasts westward.
Wind: Light to moderate southeasterly becoming northwesterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust by afternoon, with a speed of 10 – 25 reaching 40 km/h.
Sea: Slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Friday, May 16
Weather: Dusty and partly cloudy at times – A significant decrease in temperatures.
Wind: Moderate to fresh northwesterly winds and strong at times, causing blowing and suspended dust and sand, with a speed of 15 – 30 reaching 50 km/h.
Sea: Rough to very rough in the Arabian Gulf, and slight to moderate becoming rough at times by evening in Oman Sea.
