The UAE, represented by the Ministry of Investment, is participating in the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit, currently being held in National Harbor, Maryland, with the participation of 5,000 attendees from around the world.
Mohammad Abdulrahman Alhawi, Undersecretary at the UAE Ministry of Investment, said that the UAE's participation in the 2025 SelectUSA Investment Summit reaffirms the country's enduring commitment to strengthening economic ties with the US.
He added that this summit provides a vital platform for Emirati businesses to explore investment opportunities, forge strategic partnerships, and contribute to the dynamic US economic landscape.
Alhawi stated that the US has long been and remains among the UAE’s most important trading partners, with bilateral trade exceeding a record $34 billion in 2024 and commercial ties spanning all 50 states — a testament to the strength, longevity, and continuous growth of the two countries' relationship.
“We are proud to lead a delegation that reflects the UAE's diverse economy, and we look forward to the collaborative prospects that this engagement will unlock,” he concluded.
