Teams from Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority successfully controlled a fire that broke out Sunday morning at a store in the Musaffah industrial area.
In a statement, the Abu Dhabi Police said the fire did not result in any casualties, and that it had commenced the cooling and smoke extraction process.
The authorities had earlier secured the site and its surrounding areas, and evacuated it to ensure public safety.
Abu Dhabi Police also urged the public to obtain information from official sources only.
