ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast a gradual drop in temperatures this week in the UAE.
Here is the NCM weather forecast for the week:
Tuesday:
Expect dusty and partly cloudy conditions, with temperatures likely to decrease. Moderate to fresh winds may stir up dust and sand, reducing visibility. The sea in the Arabian Gulf is expected to be rough, while it will be slightly to moderately choppy in the Gulf of Oman.
Wednesday:
The weather is expected to remain dry and partly cloudy, with another temperature decrease. Northwesterly winds will blow at moderate to fresh speeds, becoming strong at times over the sea. These winds will cause blowing dust and sand, further impacting visibility, with wind speeds ranging from 15 to 30 km/h and gusts reaching up to 45 km/h.
The Arabian Gulf will be rough to very rough at times, while the Oman Sea will be slight to moderate, with the possibility of rough conditions.
Thursday:
The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy, with more clouds appearing in the north and east. Light to moderate northwesterly winds will blow, increasing at times and potentially blowing dust. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 25 km/h, with occasional gusts of up to 40 km/h. The sea in the Arabian Gulf will be rough to moderate, while the Oman Sea will be slight.
Friday:
The forecast indicates fair to partly cloudy weather, with clouds likely forming in the north and east. It will be humid at night and early Saturday morning in some coastal and inland areas, with a chance of mist. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, reaching up to 30 km/h. The sea will be calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
Saturday:
Expect fair to partly cloudy weather, with clouds appearing in the north and east. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at speeds of 10 to 20 km/h, with gusts gathering speeds of up to 30 km/h. The sea will remain calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
