The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Tuesday was 46.6°C in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi city at 2:30pm local time.
According to its post on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Tuesday in the following areas:
- Al Shawamekh: 46.6°C at 2:30pm
- Bada Dafas: 46°C at 2:00pm
- Barakah 2: 45.3°C at 12:45pm
- Saih Al Salem: 45.2°C at 3:15pm
- Mezaira: 45.2°C at 3:30pm
