The Dubai Civil Defence has successfully extinguished a fire in a 67-storey building in the Marina area within six hours, after ensuring the safety of all 3,820 residents.
The relevant authorities have also coordinated with the building’s developer to provide temporary housing for the affected residents, prioritising their safety and well-being.
The fire broke out on Friday evening, and Dubai Civil Defense immediately began the process of safely evacuating residents as a precautionary measure. The specialist teams successfully evacuated residents from 764 apartments in the 67-storey building safely and with no injuries.
Ambulance teams and medical staff also remained on site to offer full medical and mental support to the residents.
