In a strategic move reflecting TRENDS Research & Advisory’s commitment to excellence and innovation in capacity building, the TRENDS Advisory Board on Thursday approved the vision, mission, and strategy of the TRENDS International Training Institute.
These guiding principles aim to establish global training standards, empower individuals to achieve their aspirations and make a meaningful contribution to comprehensive community development.
This development aligns with the institute’s ambitious vision to become a leading international hub for specialised training, skills enhancement, and partnerships with top-tier institutes and universities worldwide. It further cements TRENDS’ position as a global centre for innovative training, keeping pace with rapid shifts in the job market.
Vision and Mission
The newly approved vision focuses on delivering high-quality, diverse, and innovative training programmes tailored to market needs. Meanwhile, the mission seeks to create a stimulating learning environment that integrates the latest methods and technologies, enabling individuals to progress and excel across various fields.
Key Pillars
The TRENDS International Training Institute’s strategy consists of six key pillars: identifying training objectives and needs through in-depth market studies and analyses; continuously developing training programmes to stay abreast of technological and knowledge advancements; recruiting and developing expert trainers to ensure professional content that meets international standards; implementing a quality management and evaluation system to measure impact and enhance performance; focusing on sustainability through an effective operating model that ensures the institute’s continuous growth; and building strategic partnerships with academic institutions and community organisations locally and globally.
The institute also offers comprehensive support services including career counselling, personalised mentorship, and performance assessment, empowering trainees to enter the job market with confidence and competence. In addition, it organises programmes for international university students, granting them good opportunities to pursue advanced training at the institute.
A New Model
Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, noted that adopting this strategy is a key milestone in the institute’s journey to introduce a new training model that goes beyond expectations. “Investing in people is investing in the future, and that is our path forward,” he said, emphasising that “TRENDS International Training Institute, through its vision, strategy, and partnerships, is developing innovative training methodologies based on our deep understanding of shifts in the global labour market”.
