Abu Dhabi Police (ADP) honoured outstanding members of the women's security patrols in a ceremony organised by the Directorate of Traffic and Patrols, in recognition of their distinguished efforts in enhancing traffic safety.
The recognition also highlighted their role in spreading traffic positivity among road users and their high field efficiency in dealing with reports and congestion, in line with ADP's strategy to enhance security and achieve institutional excellence.
Brigadier General Mohammed Dahi Al Hamiri, Director of the Central Operations Sector, emphasised ADP's commitment to empowering and qualifying female personnel by enrolling them in specialised courses to deal with the public.
He praised their efficiency in addressing traffic congestion issues and in quickly and accurately referring violators and reckless drivers to the concerned authorities.
He also commended their role in raising awareness among drivers and road users and encouraging everyone to comply with traffic laws and regulations to safeguard lives and property.
He added that the women’s security patrols at ADP play an active and integrated role in rapid response, high field efficiency, and precise professionalism when handling reports received from the Command and Control Centre at the Operations Department, ensuring full readiness in carrying out their security and traffic duties in the field.
During the ceremony, he praised the outstanding honourees for their cooperation, dedication, and continuous efforts in achieving road safety, community happiness, responsive readiness, and institutional leadership.
