Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan attends graduation of Advanced Tactical Raids course for female officers

Colonel Staff Pilot Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Director of the Special Patrols Department and Chairman of the Security Patrols Development Committee at Abu Dhabi Police, attended the graduation ceremony of the Advanced Tactical Raids Course for female officers.

The course was organised by the VIP Security and Protection Department at the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police, and took place at the training city in Al Ruwayyah.

The ceremony was attended by Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations Affairs at Dubai Police; Brigadier Musabbah Saeed Al Ghafli, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency; Colonel Hisham Nasser Al Suwaidi, Acting Deputy Director of the General Department of Emergency Affairs; participating trainees and trainers; as well as a number of officers.

Sheikh Zayed bin Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan congratulated the graduates, reaffirming the commitment of the country’s police forces to training and empowering female personnel and enhancing their capabilities in both academic and field operations.

He emphasised the importance of specialised tactical training to support their roles and responsibilities and highlighted the value of educational sessions that develop their ability to handle emergencies and engage with the public; ultimately projecting a positive image that reflects the world-class standard of the UAE’s law enforcement agencies.

He further praised the significant contributions of Emirati women to the nation’s development across various sectors, including policing and the military. He commended the graduates for their advanced training performance, their effective response to diverse scenarios, and their commitment to mastering weapons handling, ammunition use, raid tactics, and operational drills.

Brigadier Musabbah Saeed Al Ghafli explained that the course was designed to equip participants with advanced tactical techniques used in different scenarios  and making decisions under pressure.
