The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Thursday was 48°C in Mezaira, Al Dhafra Region, at 4 pm local time.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Thursday in the following areas:
- Mezaira: 48°C at 4:00 pm
- Owtaid: 47.9°C at 3:00 pm
- Al Jazeera B. G.: 47.9°C at 2:30 pm
- Hamim: 47.8°C at 3:45 pm
- Mukhariz: 47.5°C at 3:00 pm
