Eight OPEC+ countries meeting on Saturday will agree to a further accelerated oil output hike for June of 411,000 barrels per day, a source told Reuters shortly before an online meeting of the countries.
Last month, the eight countries made a larger-than-planned output hike of 411,000 bpd for May, a decision that, together with US trade tariffs, helped to drive oil prices below $60 a barrel to a four-year low.
The comment from the source came just before the countries started an online meeting to decide June output.
