ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)
AD Ports Group and the Federal Youth Authority have signed a collaboration agreement to enhance opportunities for the development and empowerment of youth in Al Dhafra Region.
The agreement signed at the first edition of the Tomouh Al Dhafra Career Fair, where AD Ports Group is a key exhibitor highlights the joint efforts of both parties for youth development.
The collaboration is a result of the joint efforts of AD Ports Group Youth Council and Al Dhafra Youth Council to facilitate local youth empowerment in Al Dhafra Region.
The Tomouh Al Dhafra Career Fair is held under the patronage of the Office of the Ruler’s Representative in Al Dhafra Region and is a powerful platform that ensures recruiters seeking top talent gain access to Emirati students and graduates ready to join the workforce.
The collaboration aims to target five pillars: provision of employment opportunities for Al Dhafra youth, Al Dhafra youth development and empowerment, logistical growth and connectivity, community development, and the enablement of the role of youth in local tourism.
By participating at the career fair, a dedicated platform to foster talent development, AD Ports Group remains committed to providing Emirati youth with opportunities to build diverse skillsets and prepare them for the future of work.
The agreement will enable the development of Emirati talent so they can be mentored and moulded to deliver excellence across industries.
In line with the leadership’s vision, AD Ports Group is committed to building a sustainable, skill-based, and inclusive economy.
To reach this objective, it has invested in several innovative HR programmes for youth skill development.
