The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Sunday was 49.6°C in Mezaira, located in the Al Dhafra Region.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Sunday in the following areas:
- Mezaira: 49.6°C at 3:00 pm
- Al_Wathbah: 49.5°C at 3:45 pm
- Arjan: 49.3°C at 4:00 pm
- Hamim: 49.2°C at 3:45 pm
- Abu Qrayn: 49.2°C at 3:30 pm
