Four Germans were killed when a small plane crashed in Austria, police said on Saturday.
It was not initially clear what type of aircraft was involved in the crash on Saturday afternoon near the town of Krimml, east of Innsbruck.
The impact caused a fire at the scene of the accident.
A police spokesperson said that the weather was good at the time of the accident.
The fire brigade said the plane came down in rough terrain and the fire spread to the woods nearby. Emergency responders from the area nearby were called out to help extinguish the flames.
