SARA ALZAABI (ABU DHABI)
Eleven social enterprises took centre stage as the Authority of Social Contribution Ma'an participated in the AIM Congress 2025, a three-day conference held in Abu Dhabi from April 7 to 9.
Ma'an's presence at this summit underscores its commitment to fostering a culture of social impact, said Rahma Al Kamali, Social Incubation Manager at Ma'an. "We aim to open market access for social enterprises under the Ma'an umbrella, including those from our incubator programmes, supporting them throughout their entrepreneurial journeys."
Working across different sectors, the highlighted enterprises are all united by their dedication to social good, Al Kamali said.
"These enterprises have been officially certified as Social Enterprises. This certificate strengthens their mission to create meaningful societal change through recognition and various incentives." Al Kamali said in an interview with Aletihad.
Some of them focus on empowering the youth while others support people of determination, she added. "Many tackle other critical social challenges. Together, they represent the innovative and inclusive spirit of Abu Dhabi's growing social enterprise ecosystem."
The 11 social enterprises that participated in the AIM Congress include the following:
