Saqr Ghobash, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), on Monday received Arsen Kanokov, Vice Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy and Head of the Russia-UAE Parliamentary Friendship Committee.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership across various sectors, building on the strong ties between the United Arab Emirates and the Russian Federation, which are supported by the leadership and governments of both countries.
They affirmed the importance of further consolidating these relations and advancing them in all fields.
The two sides also emphasised the significance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the FNC and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on issues of mutual interest in regional and international parliamentary forums.
