SEHA, a subsidiary of PureHealth, the largest healthcare group in the Middle East proudly announced the remarkable success of the 9th Al Ain Annual Research Conference concluded with remarkable success, marking a major milestone as the largest research gathering of its kind in the UAE to date.
With 178 research submissions from institutions across the Emirates and the wider region – including, for the first time, contributions from international participants – the conference continues to position itself as a leading platform for pioneering healthcare research and innovation.
The conference took place at Sheikh Tahnoon Bin Mohammed Medical City in Al Ain city, attended by professionals from healthcare, government, universities, hospitals, and research institutes, and offered a dynamic platform for exchanging knowledge, forging connections, and fostering collaborations. Approximately 30% of the research presented incorporated Artificial Intelligence (AI), highlighting the growing application of AI technologies in addressing common health conditions and advancing medical research.
Dr. Sultan Al Karam, Chief Executive Officer at STMC, commented: “The 9th Al Ain Annual Research Conference attracts investigators from across the UAE as well as regionally, and presents new innovative and AI solutions to address common health conditions."
Throughout the event, healthcare providers shed light on significant health issues relevant to the local and regional community, shared new data on cutting-edge research initiatives, and highlighted advancements in genetic diseases and novel healthcare strategies emerging in the UAE.
Dr. Dalal Al Mansouri, Chief Medical Officer at STMC, praised the quality of the research presented: "This year’s conference reflects the extraordinary commitment of our healthcare and academic communities towards driving forward scientific discovery and innovation."
