The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Saturday, May 17 was 44.5°C in Dibba, located in the Emirate of Fujairah, at 14:45.
In a post on X, the NCM said that the highest temperatures recorded across the country on Saturday include the following:
- Dibba: 44.5°C at 14:45
- Um Azimul: 43.9°C at 15:00
- Umm Al Gaf: 43.8°C at 15:15
- Hamim: 43.7°C at 14:15
- Al Quaa: 43°C at 14:15
