The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Monday was 44.6°C in Al Shawamekh, Abu Dhabi city at 2:45pm local time.
According to its post on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Monday in the following areas:
- Al Shawamekh: 44.6°C at 2:45pm
- Mezaira: 44.3°C at 2:15pm
- Saih Al Salem: 44.1°C at 2:15pm
- Madinat Zayed: 43.7°C at 3:00pm
- Al Ajban: 43.6°C at 3:15pm
