The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Friday was 50.1°C in Sweihan, located in Al Ain, at 12:30 pm local time.
According to its post on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Friday in the following areas:
- Sweihan: 50.1°C at 12:30 pm
- UAE University: 48.8°C at 13:00
- Al Qattara: 48.6°C at 14:45
- Hamim: 48.4°C at 14:00
- Raknah: 48.4°C at 13:15
