The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Sunday was 49°C in Saih Al Salam, Dubai at 1:30pm local time.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Sunday in the following areas:
- Saih Al Salam: 49°C at 1:30pm
- Sweihan: 48.4°C at 2:15pm
- Um Azimukl: 48.2°C at 3:30pm
- Al Shawamekh: 48.1°C at 3:00pm
- Al Wathbah: 48°C at 2:30pm
