The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Wednesday was 47.8°C in Sweihan, located in Al Ain, at 2:00 pm local time.
According to its post on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Wednesday in the following areas:
- Sweihan: 47.8°C at 2:00 pm
- Bada Dafas: 47.3°C at 2:45 pm
- Mezaira: 46.9°C at 3:00 pm
- Owtaid: 46.8°C at 3:15 pm
- Al Jazeera B.G.: 46.8°C at 2:45 pm
